right front wheel bearing? Empty
PostSubject: right front wheel bearing?   right front wheel bearing? EmptyFri Oct 26, 2012 10:00 am

If any one has changed theirs can you get me instructions on how you did it. It really doesnt look that bad but I dont know what order to start taking things off. Last night I was going to start with taking the lower shock bolt out first but I cant even get the bolt out. It is like there is to much tension on the bolt to come out. I am also worried about doing it by myself if I will be able to get the tie rod and control arm blots back in by myself. And how the heck will I get a torqe wrench on the control arm bolts to torqe them?Any help and tricks would help alot. Thanks guys....

Jack the machine up there will not be any tension on the shock at that point, remove wheel, and shock, remove brake caliper, remove axle nut, remove ball joints at spindle, remove tie rod at spindle, careful not to pull on axle, if your axle is stuck in the spindle pull your axle with it, you can seperate them on a workbench, still do not pull on axle at boot area you can pull the pucks out. After you get axle out of spindle remove snap ring, you will prob have to drive old bearings out, clean out your bearing boss and re assy, your axle nut will torque at 55ft lbs
