| Chris I'm like you I don't know for sure but just going by what Polaris says the S model will do 63 stock and 55 for the regular model stock | |

| From my reading the RZR S has 55HP vs 51HP on standard model. It is listed as a High Output motor. I know from pictures it has 2 separate exhaust headers vs. the single exhaust manifold on the standard model. It also has a higher compression piston. I suspect that the cam is different and the intake is opened up some. | |

| The part that worries me. is the axels on the S look like match sticks. and thay are long. i wonder how thay will hold up. i still say this is really not for the woods. I could flex the long aframes with my bear hands. I still would rather have the one like bobby has if i was going to woods ride. if i was just going to race. the S might be good. i can just see that long a frame and steering rods bumping a stump or rock. i dont think it would be a good outcome. the best setup for me if i was a RZR guy. is the green one the guy has set up like the army truck. thats cool. big tires and a lift..... You know like a real red neck like me. i like this. :D | |

Bobby , i agree with you. but i just look at it different. just how many times do we wind these things out wide open to the rev limiter in the woods. i just dont see 6 or 7 miles an hour in the woods to show up. its just not a big deal. like my Rhino is faster than Marty's but in the woods there exactly the same. all you may see in the S over a stock one is the same as a 660 and a 700 Rhino. maybe a little more excelleration or pull a hill a little easier, nothing drastic...

| Chris, I don't need mine to be any faster because I just care about riding in the woods which to ride at a safe speed 30 to 40 mph is plenty and some trails 10 to 15 mph is fast enough.I just like having the power for a big hill if needed.I have no use for the RZR S for my type of riding and if I lived out West and only had the dunes to ride I problally would find another hobby.I think those wide open spaces would get boring real quick IMO. | |

| The HO motor has some different head-work also. And Chris, I own a Rhino and know, it has some of the weakest front-end parts on the market, including your 700.............Look at a Teryx's front end parts..........Wayyyyyy beefier by a longshot. |

| I agree Pate.
Also - a regular BONE stock RZR (not the S version either) will run 62mph on a gps by removing the clutch spacer.
Again - they all have their pros and cons.

| I think most people worry about speed to much. there just little mud buggies. there all turds as far as speed. no matter what you do to them. and hell most of you just put around and listen to the Ipod and drink beer. :D so who gives a shit about Speed...... Chris.... | |
