john deere 550.

think i was a little over weight. dozer is 18000, trailer 6000 or 7000 ,truck 8200 so GVWR 32000lb Shocked
started getting a little warm going up john douglas wayside so had to get out of the fuel. dropped down to 20mph.

Good machine. My dad had the 550 GTC model. Got alot of seat time on it . Hope your trailer brakes are working good. My dad had that setup except his ton truck was not a dully. One of his employees totaled out the truck and trailer one morning . Dropped off the bearm and laid it over in the ditch. Dozer took a new rops and exhaust pipe. Keep telling him he was over. I refused to pull it.

pulled it around 40 miles to the house. it was HEAVY but it pulled it easier than i thought it wood and no trouble stopping. just took my time and let the engine work.
