08 Resurrected Rhino project

I've not been on here in a while but I thought I'd post my personal project coming out of my buisness,Baxter Built Fabrications.This is a 08 700 Rhino in for a seat drop of 10" and a boat side of the rockers 10 5/8, bed delete and crab cut, relocation of the fuel tank and drop of the cage 11".I do a verity of wheeling and fabrication and it's high time to show the Jeeps and Rzr's the Rhino still has benefits to it's design! lol I'm just going to catch the pics up to date.I already have a build thread on this else where.The left one is mine in the first pic.it has Hyper beadlocks, LS MTS,27.5 Pittbulls growlers and some JBS goodies.


new plated ant reinforced lower back A arm mount.Frame puckered on me from a very hard hit.Thought I broke both wrists. Lol

3/16 aluminum side panels/new floor.


Mach up of the bed sides.I'm currently waiting for parts to show up before I get carried away on tube.

looks great! I really don't think I would put those tires on though.there just will never be enough thump in that single cyl to pull them,even in low

These tires have been on here for 2 years.It has enough and will have a lot more power when I'm done.I plan to have JBS build me one of his 787s for it.He know's how to make one of these single cylinder have some serious torque.When it's done it will have full carbon fiber doors and carbon fiber roof.We did some testing at my last employer on carbon fiber before I went out on my own.Very cool and extremely tough if laminated right.That top bar on the cage goes from A pillar around the tire and back to the other A pillar no splices and 10 bends.It's coming together fairly well.I'll be away from the shop till tomorrow night and I have a few 660 chassis to work on then I'll be back on this for the weekend.Thanks for the props.

IMO, this is what Yamaha should have done instead of the Viking and called this a Triple X, or limited, or Sport

Didn't get much time to work on it this evening.All I got done was this filler plate to go between the spare and the back of the cage.The other one I posted that was dimpled up is below this one facing down.Tomorrow I plan get the chassis cut up on the passenger side.

It's coming along but the main build thread is another site and I don't have time to keep up with the posts everywhere else.I'll try to do better.

i see some tube adapters with Heims there on the back of the rhino... you building suspension too?

It already has LSR MTS. Those are for the spare tire mount.It will swing up so I can get under that lid.I had linear rails here in the shop I was going to make the back lid 3 pieaces and make it slide in from the outside but There really isn't enough room to make it work right.I've already got to make changes to the fuel tank but didn't want to cut it down that far.I'm looking for crazy range with this thing.lol That fuel tank is currently 21 gallons but it will be looseing a few further in the build.
