| Need some advice on new shocks for my 2013 XP9 2 seater.
I've read every thread I can find and most seem to be related to riding in the dunes out West, which I will never do.
I'm a slow trail/technical rider. I need shocks that offer a pretty good ride to help with 12 hours in the seat on super rough terrain. I rarely get over 40 mph on the trails, so high speed performance isn't really important. Every now and then I'll shoot over some whoops for fun, but that's about it.
I also tend to act a fool and climb some pretty stupid hills.
I'm really not interested in re-springing/re-valving, so please don't suggest that. I'm also looking for those of you that have actually used the shocks, not read reviews as I have also read every review Google can provide.
Also, I'm not really concerned with price, but don't want to drop $3k on Kings if they're really not worth it.
Shocks I'm looking at so far, in order: Sway-Away Radflo King
Possible Alternatives: Bilstein or Exit
Please provide some seat of the pants advice.

| Most shocks seam to be set up for sand fleas. Even if you buy a different brand, like some on here have done, they still had to send them to the manufacture to get them re-valved and re-sprung to ride what we ride. My opinion would be to send them to Smoothride on the site and get yours redone that way. Big R and others have done their 900XP shocks that way and love them. I love mine on my S now that I did that. | |

| With out question Smoothride is the way to go. Many of us here have tried different shocks but you can't buy a shock set up as good as what Tim can do.
My guess is about a thousand bucks or less for a 900 two seater.

| $750 for revalve and rebuild shocks with new springs, for the RZRS. His springs feel so smooth, when I was running the snow plow (lots of weight on the springs) and using the winch to pull trees down and around recently, I though they would start sagging. Never had to make an adjustment yet. | |

| I've have the shock job done on my old rzr s from smoothride. There was a difference, but not a huge difference. I went the way of Elka stage 4 on my 900 and they were freaking awesome! I got the Elka's for $2060 shipped. Call Elka direct and ask for Sebastian. Tell him your exact riding style, terrain, weight of accessories ect....maybe Jody T will chime in here too. He's running the Elka's along with several others in our group. | |

| Yeah, I'm not going to go the revalve/respring route. I understand that smoothride will make a nice difference, but I'm looking for the best I can get. I think I have it narrowed down to either Radflo's or Bilstein's. I was initially going to go with Elka's, however I have read several threads on the other forum about concerns with long-term quality. If I'm going to drop 2-3k on shocks, they need to last. I checked with Wide Open Designs and they setup Radflo's for XP's pretty regularly and they are in Tennessee, so they understand the type of terrain we ride in. | |

| Why don't you ride my machine before you drop a few grand on shocks. My buddy paid $3,000 dollars for shocks and then had smoothride redo them. Just saying. | |
