Fox shock adjustment Empty
PostSubject: Fox shock adjustment   Fox shock adjustment EmptyWed Feb 03, 2010 6:29 pm

I have been making adjustments on my 2009 RZRS and have adjusted the preload on the springs but when I went to adjust the shocks two clicks it was as if nothing was there (NO RESISTANCE OR CLICKS). I am sure I've done something wrong but here is how I did it. I jacked the frame up and removed the tires. Turned the screw driver adjustment in. There was suppose to be clicks but there were none. Any advise would be great.

its not really a good click.
it is very faint. you must go very slow and you will feel
the notch's. i find a very small screw driver useing just
two fingers really helps you feel it better.... allright

Thanks Chris I hope I haven't gone to far. Should you remove the tires to make the adjustment or is okay if they are on

Best way just turn them all the way out which is the softest position then go in 2 clicks at a time till you get no bottoming. If you cant get to that point you will need to turn down the adjuster rings to increase the preload.

We are going to Pickett this weekend and I will give it a try. I think I will start with the factory preset because that was fine before I adjusted the preload. Thanks

For every two-Rounds down on Pre-load, two-Clicks out on compression. Good baseline to go with.
