| Our new/used Toyhauler did not come with a generator, so I have been looking around to see what will work for us. I have seen a lot of contractors using the Champion's and thought they are buying cheap generators to use and throw away. I was wrong. I started asking some of them how they liked the Champions. All of them said nothing but good things about them. One contractor uses their generator daily. Said it was about 1 1/2 years old. It replaced another Champion that lasted over 5 years he said. I checked some of the RV sites too. I bought the 4,000 watt peak/3,500 watt continuous. It has a 30 amp RV receptacle on it. I tested it with my trailer after I broke it in a little. I ran it with the 15,000 btu AC on high, the microwave and all lights on. No problem at all. The generator with the wheel kit came from Walmart.com for around $375.00. It is very quite on the noise too. It is made in the USA too. | |

| I have this exact setup. It has served us well and is quiet enough to run all night. Well worth the $275 I paid with coupon at Camping world. It even came with a completely worthless vinyl cover. | |

| They are surprisingly quite. Compared the garden tiller generator that was next to us. | |

| Mine wouldn't power my hauler over the weekend & had to go pick up a temporary replacement. A/c would bog it down to almost die, same with a hair dryer or microwave alone. It powered my old hauler w/o any issues & after doing more research they are labeled at a higher rating than they actually are.I had my dad test it 2600watts normal & surge was 2950 | |

| Call the company. I heard of a guy on an rv forum who had that issue and they told him how to adjust something that corrected the problem.
Mine did not bog while 15,000 btu ac on high, the microwave on, and all lights on.

Hehe my little Honda runs about 6-8 hours on one gallon It won't run a 15k AC though. Mine is just a 9k. Coleman now sells a 11k AC that was made to run on the small inverter generators.
