| Here's the deal guys....I have a Honda 2000 watt generator that has been absolutely flawless for 10+ years. With this new trailer setup though it just isn't enough to run my 13,500 A/C and anything else at the same time. I know a few of you bought the 4000 watt Champions. My dilemma is whether I should just get a Champion for $300 or so or get a companion Honda for another 2000 watts at $1k.
Pros for the Champion: It's cheap and therefore less likely to be liberated by some low-life. One unit that can power the whole trailer and one less thing for something to go wrong.
Pros for the Honda: RELIABILITY Even running both at the same time they will use less gas than the Champion. I can run only one if that's all I need. I just don't see how anything can be any quieter.
So what are your thoughts? I sort of need to make up my mind in a few days since we will be dry camping Memorial Day weekend. | |

| Mike D and Me have the Champions. I try to cycle mine every week. Low on noise and starts easy. Ronney's guys can tear up a stainless steel ball. | |

| I have had the Champion 3500/4000 for a few years, treated it like shit the entire time. Changed oil once each year. I have had zero problems out of the unit. Use it regularly. I'd buy another in a heartbeat for the money. | |

| Thanks for the feedback guys! I was ready to go ahead and get the second Honda today, but when I called Trails End to make my reservation for the weekend of the Fourth I found out that someone had cancelled a reservation for a campsite with hookups just before I called. So it looks like I won't be needing it anytime soon. | |
