| Get the Bear-Claw HTR. Not the regular ones. Best tire I've ever owned. | |

| I have them and not impressed - I can't get them to hold air even reseated a few times. My Bighorns were no problem. They do hookup good and are tough.
If I had to do over I would go with 14" rims and 28" rocktanes

| Bad, Beadlocks right??? It's the rims not the tires.... I'll never buy another set of beadlocks......They all leak. Dont matter if they are 400.00 a piece Hypers or cheap STIs.....Nothing to do with the tires... | |

Your correct as I've owned (4) sets & they all leaked with the exception of my MSA M21's that I haven't added one pound of air since I installed them.

| I have 14" MSA Vice beadlocks with 28" Roctanes and they have never leaked. I run them at 7 psi in the rocks and no trouble. | |

| I am considering a set of these bear claw radials. I was thinking of running 26x9x12 all the way around on 4+3 rims but with these being a directional tire what kind of spare would you get? And from pics I have seen it looks like they have rim guards but I cannot find anything in writing that they do and a rim guard is some what important to me. Just look at my factory rims from 2 rides at Uwharrie. | |

| They have what I'd call a slight rim-guard. The bigger the size, the bigger the guard. I run 27x9s on all four corners with the same size wheels so I can rotate. Also have a spare. I honestly wouldn't care if I had to run one backwards to get out of the trails or keep riding. | |

| Do the 9s perform as well in the mud and on rocks as 10s or 11s? And does it look like its missing anything with the 9s on all four corners when you are use to 10s on the rear? Is it true that it handles better and steers better with the 9s all the way around? I was looking at the rip saws until I seen the weight of them. | |

| I can't say much about mud-performance as I avoid mud like herpes...... A bigger contact-patch has it's advantages but Un-sprung weight is your friend. 10s all around is fine too. With the proper-spacing and wheels, on my machine anyways, they look fine and do great in the rocks. On a XP1k they might look strange sure.... | |

| So many to choose from, so far the kenda is at the top of my list. I want something thats going to ride good on the hard pack but won't leave me stranded in the mud hole that would not get out of the way, and not so heavy. I'm not sure how a 34 lb tire would eat up my power on the 700 but I figured the faster I can spin them the better they will clean and get me out. The rip saw and the EFX Moto350 are good looking tires but they both weigh in over 30 lbs and thats more than what i want to push. So it looks like Kenda's HTR's on Moose 393X Wheels. 26x9x12 on 12x7 rims with a 4+3 offset. What u think?

| I dont want to go to much over stock, my brother went to 27's and he ended up busting the rack and pinion on the trail and it took us 4 hours to get back to the truck. | |

Your brother did what we call "ran out of talent" That had nothing to do with tire height. He caught something on the right front and broke the rack on the right-side. Correct? You can do that on 25's.

| All i know is we were going up a hill and the terrain was smooth and no rocks or roots, I was behind him and suddenly he was heading out in the woods. And the hill was not that steep. And yes it was on the right side. Are the rhinos bad about this? If they are I am going to buy me a spar rack to keep with me. It was hard getting him out of the woods. | |

| He had to hit something with the right-front to break the housing. Maybe not that hill. But he hit something hard with the right-front tire at some point. Easy thing to do. Been there done that. I wouldn't say you need to bring a spare rack along. Just be smart. It's a pretty tough rack but it will break if it takes a hard-enough hit. | |

| 9s and 11s on factory rims. Where did you see they changed the tread? Look the same to me. You may have mistaken the regular Bearclaws. The HTRs have a different tread. | |
