used machines for sale

I have to bring up a rant.  I know Orangcrush did this on facebook "I Wish I could get him to post here as much as Facebook    ".  

Just saying.  If you drop 25 grand in a machine does not mean you will get that back.  I really have know idea how much I have spent on my XP.  It is VERY tricked out.  More so then most.  However, I know I can not get $17,000 for it just because I spent $25,000.  You will never sale a machine for more then someone can buy it new.......  

I see a lot of machines for sale that cost much more then a new machine.  Thousands more.  I know that if I can buy a used buggy with doors, tires, rock sliders, etc.... for the same price as a new one then it's gone.  However, most will laugh at you.  


 

Yep. You got a good deal from our old buddy Mike Clark and I passed up the deal of a life time on the last one he wanted me to buy. Them are the real deals.

You can't fix stupid.........   

Strip it, put it back stock. Sell the mods by-themselves. The only way (IMO) to come out decently. Yes, it's a pain to ship stuff, but it's worth it in the end.....

Who cares, it's just money.  The king and pawn go in the same box after the game ends. I have to add that I find it hilarious when people say how much they "invested" in their toy. These are depreciating assets. There is no investment no matter how you spin it.

Most folks see no or little value in those mods that we put on our units. Only someone who has had a machine understands what went into the mods. Definitely not an investment. Pate is right strip it use the mod or sell em.

Agreed. Back in college I had a side ebay company where I would buy built Jeeps, strip them back to stock grade and sell them. I'd usually sell the back to stock Jeep for more than I paid for the built one and then sell of the parts. Even after my labor I came out ahead enough to make me want to do it again. Like it was said above, there is no such thing in an investment in a toy with a motor. These are not Barrett Jackson collectibles.

It just amazes me........ 2013 RZR XP 900 over $25,000 invested will sale for $17,500. I can buy a brand new one for that price. More then likely I don't like the mods you put on YOUR machines. I want to put on MY mods.......

Do like Pate said. Strip it down and sale the mods. Then sale the machine for a market price.

exactly what I did....stripped it I got 1/2 to  2/3 s of what I paid for my accessories when I sold them.traded in the 900 for a great price .
