| yep it cracks me up also… When I sold our 800s I stripped a lot of the stuff off. Still left a lot of stuff like suspension. IMO Add ons like doors are worth leaving on just cause everyone wants them and even though you won't get your money back it will probably help sell the machine. But thinking your investing when you add accessories is a joke. | |

Just saying. If you drop 25 grand in a machine does not mean you will get that back. I really have know idea how much I have spent on my XP. It is VERY tricked out. More so then most. However, I know I can not get $17,000 for it just because I spent $25,000. You will never sale a machine for more then someone can buy it new.......
I see a lot of machines for sale that cost much more then a new machine. Thousands more. I know that if I can buy a used buggy with doors, tires, rock sliders, etc.... for the same price as a new one then it's gone. However, most will laugh at you.
BTW, it's orangecrush, not orangcrush...LOL. I know, it's not that I've been absent, I open up SSXS's site, scroll through it and if nothing is really new, I don't respond. The funny thing is somehow I've gotten caught up in FB. I never use to post but the last few months, I seem to live on there. I think it's Amy's fault, yeah, I'm pretty sure it's Amy's fault, yup, now I know it's Amy's fault. Whew, glad we got that cleared up. Anyway, back to your post.... Yeah, I love it when those ads say 25K invested, will sell for 12K. I must be stupid because I thought an investment is where you put money into something and when you sell it, you make money. Perhaps I have it wrong. I know myself, I "invest" a shitload of money into my toys and for some reason, I seem to lose a shitload. Somehow, the shitloads aren't equal. Mark | |
