1/2 Windshield? Empty
PostSubject: 1/2 Windshield?   1/2 Windshield? EmptyWed Sep 10, 2008 9:48 pm

I want a 1/2 windshild for the winter. Anyone have a suggestion on which one to get. I really like what Hunterworks uses for a windshield but they don't make a 1/2 one and I don't want one of their "summer shields"

LOL, not where I ride. In the winter that will be so frozen over and covered in a frozen muddy mess you can't see out of it, thats why I want the half. Even when it gets covered over I can see over it and still keep going but its enough to keep the wind off.

here is TigerRag this past winter, that was frozen solid no washing it off until it thaws.

i have the summer shield.if you push it all the way down,it leaves a good bit open so you can see over the windshield.I got it on clearance from hunterworks.

wvyankee, I like the quick disconnect without tools on that one. Do you have it? has it held up well or does it scratch easily?

I have the clamps but not their winshield. The clamps alone are $65.00 for 4. So you are getting the Windshield for $90.00. It's polycarbonate and tinted which I like. It should be good.

Yep, a few rides in WV remind you that the half is the way to go.
