Windshield

Just a thread to discuss windshields for the Prowler.

This can also be related to the Rhino an other SxS's.

Has anyone used the Hunterworks Windshield located at http://hunterworks.com/inc/sdetail/8291
it sells for $364.95. I was thinking this is way overpriced but if you read it its made from a special material used also in Nascar that cannot be scratched unless forcefully scratched with a screwdriver or knife they say. Dirt and towels wont scratch it.

It also has a vent along the window towards bottom you can open on it. It says due to dust in the cab area this vent will help to control it because it upsets the dirt vacum.

Read that and lets see what you all think. This is the option I am considering for the Prowler. They make the exact same one for the Rhino also.

ive heard others say somethin and i agree it looks like the vent is too high and when trail riding could get in the way of your view they had a different picture of another shield with a vent but much lower, also i believe they said the vents dont help that much if i remember correctly....i double check on that

I have the one from Hunterworks and I love it!! No vision obstructions with the vent at all! And it lets ALOT of fresh air come through
