GOT MY NEW WALKER EVANS SHOCK ON LAST NIGHT!!

Well they finally came in last night, they were actually a pretty easy install except for the rear a-arm guards as you can see I had to chop them up pretty good to make room, the dremel and grinder weren't doing the job so I had to bust out the saw zaw(spelling?) then finish up with the big grinder. I only had a chance to take it in a couple of ditches and the street but the ride I can tell is much nicer and makes you want to jump it because it so soft. Right now it looks like I have about 11" of clearance in the rear and 12" in the front, I did get the heavier duty springs from walker evans though, anyway heres a couple pics hope to do some testing in the coming weeks.

Thanks everyone, I hope to give a small review once I get a chance to ride again. Right now everthing and I mean everything is underwater after the last 2 days of solid rain, iam afraid I won't be able to test anything for a while to see how well they really do.
Hey shawnley1222 I am just making up from when I was real young my parents didn't have any money to buy toys like this, so now Iam making up for it, for myself and I buy them 4 wheelers and trucks which is something I know they always have wanted to do for me!!

Well taking it under water at 5-10mph isn't going to give me a good impression of how well the shocks perform, once it dries out we have lots of crappy whoop sections here and thats were I want to see them perform, that's were my rhino came to life as well, the shocks on that made a 1000x's difference! Plus I understand they are offroad vehicles but I do not abuse and beat my stuff I pay cash for all of my toys and would feel sick drownding it out! AND I only have maybe 15 hours on it and I am breaking it in by the BOOK :D although tuff because it's so damn fast, iam doing my best!

ya i went it was nothin more then a sunday stroll your kind of ridin :(lmao: but it wasnt bad nothin too too exciting but a nice relaxing ride we rode all of it in one day only down side well all but maybe 2 or 3 miles of it o well at least i did it once, and as far as the trail i got no clue

Hey don't be hatin on my grandpa drivin! I actually went out sunday with 2 buddies on there rzr's and a buddy in a 700 rhino,SE with the good shocks! He ended up going home early because he said he just could not keep up with us anymore, he was actually soaking wet sweating from just driving, needless to say he will never end up riding with us again! Now that was before the rains so Iam hoping to give it a good run like that again once it dries up.

psh ill catch up eventually i aint skeered to be slower then the pack i know i can paddle my way through stuff yall cant :foff: we will still have to set up a ride since we never got to it b4 u sold the 450

definitely man, I was hoping to do a little more riding here in the future but it seems we are starting to pick up again(unbelievably) at work. Iam actually going to the mountains in Oct. and I can not wait!

right now I have 12.5 inches up front and 11.5 in the rear, there is still a ton more of adjustment to had with these shocks as well, I just don't want to stress the axles to much.

so i take it you gained over stock shocks and tires

shocks really did the trick the tires only gave me maybe half and inch. It came with 10"'s but that really went down after the springs got weaker.

they just look low in pictures all the rzr i have seen were lifted for mud slingin
