Evarts Kentucky in February

Just Talked to Big-R and he is without power at this time so list may not be up-dated in the next day or so. List is still growing and hope to add more!

Big R without power. What do you think they are doing to stay warm??

Here in central NC I passed no less than 20 power trucks all heading West on I40 so help is on the way!

Good news for sure, we are in need of some help. Like I said before, I am lucky to have some juice! Many friends and family without, and it may be some time before they get it back. My hat is off to the boyz in the hard hats in cherry pickers!

I'll have a Cabin at http://www.blackmountainrentals.com/tour.html. It'll be Neuromax (Daryl), Roamerr (me -- Randy), and one of our friends Allen. Neuro and myself will be in Rhinos and Allen will have his Honda ATV. We will likely not arrive til Friday around 6pm.

Looking forward to the ride on Saturday 2/7. Hoping someone can show me the good areas. I've never been to Evarts.

Don't worry about that. There will be some of the best guides Evarts has to offer.

so what day are yall getting up there? what days the main riding day. im for sure making this one...try to talk them boys into doing an off-park ride down towards bell county way so i can finish linking up my GPS tracks lol.

just let me know what the main ride day is and what time yall are leaving and ill be up that morning...evarts is less than an hour from here.

BCO,,, I think most will be there Friday morning,,,,I will be in Harlan, Thursday evening and at the fire pit that night,,then hooking up with LT on Friday morning.....

10-4 so the rides on friday...thatll be fine...ill get up there early.

I plan on being there Thursday night with my daughter Meredith, depends on the weather though. Gonna camp that weekend.

Disaster, PM me you number and we will call you when we are heading to the firepit,,hope to be there around 8pm or so maybe a little later.

Recon.Doubtful that I will have service, phones dont work too well down there.

Yeah, I may not either,,guess we will just meet at the firepit or something,,, Maybe we could plan a specific time, say 10pm at the firepit, not sure when we will get there, but should be there by then. Or we can come look you up, just describe what truck and camper

Evarts is a little town, where are you staying on Thursday nite?

Weather next weekend is looking great so far. 48 and sunny Friday, and 52 and sunny Saturday.

Disaster,,,,we may stay in Harlan in a hotel on Thursday night, but will be at the fire pit first. PM me on what you will be driving and what your camper looks like and we will track you down....

I am driving a blue crew cab long bed F-250, I will be tent camping and I ride a Suzuki King Quad that is Green. You wont miss me. It will be me and my 10 yr old.

I have my surgery on the 12th....but hubby has to work the weekend of the ride. My nephew's big bday party is also the same w-end. We will try to make another one when warmer weather comes along. Hope you all have fun.

Meeting place will be at the North Evarts campground on Friday night, then again leaving from there on Saturday morning around 0900. Looking forward to it!!

North Evarts campground is the same as the North RV site? I like the 9am time. Usually this time of year I have to work to get everyone rolling by 10am. 9am works great.

For anyone that knows Evarts -- How far by road is it from Black Mountain Rentals (behind Buddies Chevron) to the North Campground? The map looks like only a couple of miles but I realize that may be deceiving...

I doubt it is a mile. It will take you two minutes to get there. As a matter of fact, it takes two minutes to get anywhere in Evarts.
