if it wasnt in february id ride my wheeler from my house to evarts...i know the way to do it now...but seeing as its gonna be colder than dammit ill just make the 45 minute ride up. yall getting a cabin or what?

Two rentals from PoWhiteBoy. Don't know what everyone else's plans are, but I know BigR, Clayboy, myself and the wifey, and possibly a couple others already have reservations. I extended the invitation to my brother and stepdad and Recon33Alpha to stay with me. No one has confirmed that they are definitely coming, so I may end up having more than enough room for about 3 more people. If I have room, you are welcome to stay with me.

Like LT said, we have two houses reserved. Look in the places to ride, of this site under KY & WV. There is a link to Evarts. You should be able to find a place

After the holiday's...the Feb. ride in Evarts will roll up on us fast...and I can't wait to meet many of you for the first time...and "re-meet" many of you again!

Folks this non posted ride is getting hot..I will pull it out of sticky and down back in the forums on our site....gonna be a hoot..and what a way to welcoome Lt. Airborne...and Recon back home..and let them know from one vet to another...WELL DONE.
Just wish they could get ole Bin Laden to tag along..as we have some mity nice....

Yeppers CB I can see 2 off park rides for sure on those dates...the one to blk mtn for now only..has a wee bit more black top than I like...only until a coal company gets some land released from bons money..the back in the woods we go.
Our martins fork ride towards stone mtn is a hoot as well..both can be all day long and more if ya want..then around the indoor or outdoor fire pit..is a must.

Recon, yes the offer is still good. I don't know if you heard, but things are not looking good for me right now. As you well know, the Army does not really care about your best-laid plans, and right now I am in jeopardy of being stuck here for awhile. No ground movement going on thru Pakistan right now, and that greatly affects me as the battalion UMO. Keep your fingers crossed..........I am really not wanting to miss this ride.

LT, it will work out, if not, we will just plan for another date. Thats the Military for ya. My wife doesn't listen to a thing I tell her about the Army, cuz she knows it will change.

Really hate it for you Airborne LT. We see on the news often about the escalation of forces in Afghanistan. I don't really care for the war in Iraq but Afghanistan was and still is necessary since it is a proven Terrorist site. Hopefully things will look better and you can ride Everts in Feb!

Yeah, it is really out of my hands completely. My 0-6 already went home and says we have to stay until all the stuff is gone. I have had the equipment staged for a month or more and nothing has moved. I would like to see some sort of progress instead of just sitting here waiting for the crap to move.

Hate to hear that LT...Was really looking forward to meeting you on this ride. Keep us posted, hopefully it will work out. If not, like someone else said, we will plan another as soon as youre able.

Lt..we all hope this changes for ya...if not..our mtns...our trails we go nowhere...even get bigger...remeber our motto..and event every month...a ride every weekend...2009 will be no different...bottom line...stay safe..and GIT HERE WHEN YA CAN. :D
