Got my Repair letter from Yamaha today

Well i got my repair letter from Yamaha
today.... thay said it was not a recall.
it was volentary for the spacers and swaybar removal.
it was originaly for the 450 and the 660 but the letter
say thay decided to add the 700 to the deal.
But there a little late as my swaybar is removed and
i already have spacers.

Maybe thay will send the letter to Ronnie
and he will finally take the dam swaybar off....

it did not mention anything about the free helmet
yall was talking about....

yea my letter didnt say a word about helmets the lady i talked to at yammi did tell me we could get a helmet after watching safety video.

No mention of the helmet in mine either. Sid.

unless they got a rainbow colored helmet, chris wouldnt wear it

I poke in and lurk a little once in a while over on the "Sand Flea" board just to see what is goin on. Some guys over there say that when the dealer does the work, they have been told to KEEP the sway bar and the spacers are somehow made to be a permanent install. Ya'll hear anything like that? I haven't other than on that board.

Nope. Need to call my dealer, but that sounds about right.

I was wondering if they would try to make the spacers permanent. I like my sway bar on......so I dont yet think I will get the swap.
