Need help or ideas

I need a pipe and muffler for the exhaust system from the headers back for an 05 rhino. Mine broke on the way back from trail 75 @ brimstone. Those loud backfires were the precursor of the pipe completely coming in two. Do you think a weld would hold up ?
It broke in the mid of the S in the pipe before the muffler.

on the ride back i found out that toilet paper stuck in the ears works pretty good

I think I'd try the weld while looking for another pipe. That should hold till you locate what you need and you'll be able to ride in the mean time. Just my $.02

I have welded my in two different places.....it will hold. Or at least has so far.

Worth a try for sure. Keep a look-out on E-Bay for a replacement, they are always there.

Jeez louise ! hotter than the twin doors of hades, the muffler issue is going to take a dissasembly at the slip joint, i think, to get the pieces out. Anbody want to comment on the right way to get the exhaust out ? Unfortunately my setup at home is the shade tree variety.

On my 07 I didnt have to remove the muffler. But I did have to loosen the rubber support just before the muffler so I could move it a lil to get the header out.

Oh yeah, I removed the bed, it's a whole lot easyier that way. Just un-plug the tail-light harness, pull the two pins and it's off.
