| Yes that's what we use , channel 3. but a lot of us now use GSM radios. we are trying to incurage people to get them and use channel 14. it pick up a lot farther..... GSM is a MAN RADIO...... | |

| most times we use 3, but sometimes need to use the gmrs channels that use full power which are 8 and up. | |

| Why not run a good cb and be a little cheaper. Then you could have 40 ch. I run around with a lot of the 4x4 trucks and that is all we run. | |

| we just mostly use the fm hand 2 ways, cheap, good for up to 10-15 miles, and they are portable, no mounting or antennas needed. | |
