New 2010??????

The good stuff on polaris is american made, motor, trans, diffs, but like every other machine be it car truck or offroad some of the parts come from many places. but china made stuff doesnt have usa parts on it.

Go Japanese... They been sending us stuff for years and it works...most of the time better than stuff made in the U.S.A....

Chinese stuff is still in trial stages... lol...

True, it was assembled in the USA but where was it made???

As far as I know most of the components are still made in Japan????

It is American assembled. I would have to question whether the cases, cams, pistons, cranks, shocks, seats, ecu's, etc, etc...........are American, or Japenese made.

Id say some of it is made here, the roll bars are coated by a local powder coat company, and the camo coating is from local company also.

gunny you wouldnt happen to know where i could get that camo coating put on would u?

If youre talking about what comes on one from the factory, it is wet lay applied called wrapping, you might find a place close to you but the one that does it for yamaha and kawasaki is located in south ga.

if it was a from joyner lol i might just get a RZR-S and keep my rhino so i can have an extra

nah.......no RZR-S for me...........im just gonna get a crashed rhino 660 and mod it to the max....11-1 cam.......2seat race cage.........dynatek cdi......oh yea

This may be old news, but I talked to an employee in Yamahas HR Dept. ( The Rhino plant is here in town... Newnan, GA ) This individual stated that the 2010 Rhino will be unveiled on Feb 12.... I think that is the date he said... Anyway. I can't wait to see the new model.

I have never mentioned it, but my old green Rhino was bought from the factory. Anyway, I will see what I can find out about the new model (2010).

The RZR is 48% Chinese. The Ranger is 23%. You can look at it and tell..............The welds tell the truth..........

Is Polaris owned by Textron, the same company that owns EZ-GO golf carts?
Or do they just both use Fuji for motors.

The RZR & Ranger share these items:
Same motor
same diffs
same electrics by bosch(german)
same hub,brakes, cv's, lines, ecu, wiring, frame and roll bar material
same us. maker builds the transmissions
So tell where all these Chinese parts are hiding?
The only parts that i know are from china or could be...
Tires & possibly wheels
Roll bar or frame steel??
wheel bearings and other misc small items
seats ?
plastics?
seat belts?
And most all the after market accessories sold by polaris are china made.

But to say a rzr is 48% and a ranger is half that is just stupid math, polaris does use some foreign built items, as every company American or otherwise does. Then obviously the ranger being built with the same materials the RZR is but being bigger would have more of any foreign made materials in it than the smaller rzr, So if anything the ranger is the more slant eyed machine and you are the one that is

Well if my RZR is 48% Chinese, I take my hat off to those little guys. The machine is awesome for the most part.
