| The 2010 Rhino 700 was introduced this morning to Dealers. Upgrades include white armor sport edition, a new steering wheel and new seatbelts. It appears we won't be seeing a new side-by-side roll out for 2010. They will be available for January - June delivery

| IMO, that's still pretty consistent with what we've heard about the 2011s being the actual redesign...
I think they're trying to give the dealers something different to sell as a 2010 model, to buy time, until the actual newly redesigned models are available.
Do those dates mean that they can start delivering 2011 models in April?

This info was just rolled out to the dealers. It will probably be a couple days to hit the web site.

From what yank said, the 2010 rhino has no changes other than safety and cosmetic, seems the teryx got a few upgrades to the cooling system and a few others but remained basically the same too, so i guess you could compare the 09s and get the same result. What's New for Teryx for 2010: * A new hinged, forward-tilting front hood enforces aggressive new styling, and allows quick access to the radiator and front suspension components, for easier maintenance and suspension tuning. * New, inset headlights complement the aggressive new styling. * A larger radiator fan helps keep engine temps under control in slow going, and a larger-diameter hose increases coolant flow and overall capacity. The coolant reserve tank was moved under the front cover for easier maintenance. * A new ignition cut-out feature protects the brake system by preventing riding with the parking brake on. * The tilt bed’s frame is engineered with increased rigidity for even greater durability. * Other minor modifications aimed at more efficient production and durability.

I would still buy the Rhino over the Teryx. I just like it more, even though it comes up short on power.

| IMO, the weak point on the Teryx is the clutch/belt system based on all the posts on other forums. The new design with opening hood, etc., incorporated a lot of feedback from customers, but the drivetrain still has this same limitation, as far as I know...
I'd still go with the Rhino, purely for reliability and engine braking... of course high-speed performance was never a priority for me anyway.

| yep rhino for me and i dont much like the front diff.lock on the teryx, after a while the lever will stretch to where it wont fully engage and repeated use will cause the cable to break | |

| From the video on the Kawasaki web-site, then said the frame was narrower to give longer a-arms for more wheel travel. However, if you read the specs the wheel travel looks the same as the 09's.
If they really added wheel travel I would like to test drive the Teryx at Brimstone. Then I would have a better opinion. I am disappointed in Yamaha and the lack of power.

The XP has this also. I got spooked by it today. It will not move with the E-Brake on, even if it's one click............

Well that's crap! In the video they make it sound like that was a new feature. That answers my question. I would buy a new Rhino. Even with less power.

| I went from a Rhino to a Teryx and would never go back. I have 1300 miles on mine and the only problems I have are the front a arm bushings. The only thing I like better on the Rhino is there easier to work on. | |

I am not questioning the quality of the Teryx. Kawasaki makes a great machine. It is just not good for my type of riding. I actually wish they would build a buggy to compete with the RZR. Because I know Yamaha is not.
