Well my Rhino is making a growling noise when I put it in limited slip.Checked the differential oil, okay, checked the ujoints, okay.I would,nt think it would be in the front end,it,s too new.Have any of you experienced this problem.I sure don,t want to break anything right here at hunting season.

What year is the rhino. I know that many of the 08's have this noise when you put it in the lock position. Mine does it and has been fine for 2200 miles. However, my front diff just started leaking.........

Check your front drive shaft. If your yokes on the end don't line up anymore then the torqe limiter in the shaft is sliping. It will get weeker and tend to do it more often. My 08 does this all the time.I plan to fix it this winter.I've come to find out that this is a very common problem on these machines.I believe that I read that this shaft runs around $385.00 for it to do it all over again. My solution is going to be lign the yokes back up and weld the limiter.Yes I now that my front end will be takeing all of the stress then but the limiter is a Yamaha joke. If anyone hears of a better idea then feel free to post it up and let us know.Because I'm not spending a bunch of money for junk parts.
