Great music indeed Fox and wonderful pics to boot. But my "Classical Gas" sounds somewhat different. More like.........."Flubber Blasting"!

C'mon guys -- I can't believe neither of these groups nor songs has been included. You bunch of slackers ... or is it young whipper-snappers?

Well I was going to get to it..... at least w/ the Moody Blues, but wasn't going to do the main stream stuff.....so much better that never got radio play

But these "youngsters" likely can't recognize anything off "Side B"...
Carrying on with some classics:
And these "old farts" from 10 years ago -- original version was much better...
Every guitarist since is simply a "wannabe"...

Since I already mentioned her, it's only fair that I include her. Likely no woman has every put any more emotion into a song. Stories go that if she didn't actually have an orgasm on stage, that she'd often grab the first good looking (to her) groupie or stagehand and drag him to her dressing room when she came off stage...
She lived and died on the edge, like so many of them, for her it was 39 years ago last Sunday. She and Big Brother and the Holding Company put on one hell of a show...
But, Gracie was much easier on the eyes and ears...

This is turning into a great trip down memory lane... later in a long day, so it's time to mellow it out a little...
How's Meatloaf for dinner?
One of my favorite vocal performances of that time -- kinda like Joplin, you can hear the pain...
Or, more pain on this great cover of an early '60's Everley Brothers song (yeah, my sister had the 45!) :
Now, to pick it back up -- just a little bit... wll, maybe more than a little bit:

Chris C wanted me to ask you guys where the "Wham" flashback was.
Gunny wanted to know why you guys were not putting any Barry Manilow clips up.
Big R was complaining yesterday there was no Air Supply....
I was kinda looking for some Bangles myself.....
No BS......classic rock gets me going. However, I still love my country and southern rock. .38 Special, Skynyrd, Bocephus, Waylon, Haggard, George Jones, George Strait
Still love the Zeppelin, AC/DC, Floyd, Ted Nugent
Got a soft spot for several of the hair bands too.....Motley Crue, GNR, Slaughter, Skid Row
Favorite rock band all-time for me= Eagles with .38 Special a close second Favorite solo artist (rock)= Bob Seger
