| My experience with Big Gun:
On day one when installing I found they had supplied the wrong springs that attached the mid-pipe to canister so I called and the customer service was great they got my springs shipped that day and in just a couple days my springs were at my door. 250 miles later the rear bushing supplied in the kit came unglued and the exhaust basically fell off. I called Big Gun and they said they were having trouble with that bushing coming apart and replaced it with a solid aluminum bushing, they shipped my aluminum bushing and within a few days it was at my door. 100 miles later I noticed on occasion I had a back fire on decel over the next 50 miles I noticed I had a rattle which keep getting worse and the back fire seemed to be getting worse. I got out this last weekend and got to looking for the rattle I found it, The end cap on the canister(mid-pipe side) was lose and leaking exhaust which would explain my rattle and the backfiring on decel. I called Big Gun this week and they said this was a common problem, They said if their muffler was not repacked every 17 hours it would cause the end caps to become lose. I removed the Big Gun exhaust and reinstalled my stock muffler this weekend to me it is not worth the money and trouble of repacking every weekend with such little gain.
This was my first Big Gun pipe and will probably be my last. I have owned several HMF pipes and had no trouble when their packing gets blown out they get louder but I have never had one to fall apart.

| I've always believed that most exaust systems for these machines were not worth the price paid for performance gained. With that being said, i'm looking at the Lexx Pate had on his for $199. Seems like a great piece for a possible future 660 upgrade. | |

| I had a BUB pipe on my King Quad. 300 miles tops and the thing was toast. I do have to say they stand behind their product. They shipped me another one FOC. I had it on my second KQ. 350 miles plus and it was still intact and looking like new when I sold the KQ in July. I have heard the Big Gun was really good but I guess that one shows that all brands are subject to falling apart. I agree MnG, not worth the hassle to have to work on something every other ride. | |

| I had an HMF on my kodiak for over 2000miles with no troubles. I had a HMF on my Grizzly for 1000 miles with no problems and I have a HMF on my Raptor 700 and have had no problems with it what so ever. | |

| i had a biggun on my rhino and it done the same thing. the bolts would not stay in the thing. mine lasted about a year intill i just got tired of fixing it so i put my stock one back on. i did see some power gains because i was able to hit the rev limiter easy with a aftermarket CDI | |

Mine don't have bolts it is pop-riveted together and it still came loose. Mine did help a little on the top end (added 1mph)but not near enough to be worth the trouble.

| I haven't had any trouble with the bolts coming loose. Here is a pic of it when it was new you can see the pop-rivets on the mid-pipe side of the pipe. if I get a chance later I will take a pic of it as is. | |
