| So my belt came in, i went out to the garage to put it on. I took seats out, removed safety belt bar, removed cover and...... the belt looks fine. what I did notice is that my secondary wont spin and it takes a lot to move my primary. The RZR is in park when I do this. I remember watching a video and it showed both of them moving freely in park and neutral. I havent changed the belt because both wheels were so hard to spin. is there something else that could be wrong? | |

| The primary should be a little hard to spin since you are turning over the motor (if you remove the spark plugs it should be easier). With the belt removed you should be able to spin the secondary in neutral and park. I would try other gears and see if the secondary will spin when you move the rzr forward and backward. If not I would take it to a dealer in may be in the rear end or trans. | |

| Can you can put it in neutral and lift the rear up with a jack and spin the rear tires. If you can I would say trans (or hear some grinding noises), but if the they don't it could be the pinion shaft, or the coupler. | |

| It should not spin in park. The secondary is on the transmission shaft, in park it should not move, the primary is always hard to turn it is bolted to the crank, turning it turns the crank and pistons.Pull the belt and Put it in neutral to try and turn it. the simple way to remove the belt is get a 3/8'' extension, put a 1/2'' socket adapter on it, put it the slot on the secondary and push in, it will spread the sheaves and you can take the belt off or put one on. | |
