Ok....here is info on one motel in Big Bay.....there are others, but the price goes up.There is also a camp ground right in Big Bay....but I do not know pricing for this camp ground.....maybe if anyone is bring a toy hauler they may look into this and if you can't find the info that you are looking for, let me know and I'll get info and answers.
I had asked for input on date and wants......I put out 7-15-12 to 7-21-12 as a suggestion....we need to start to nail this down. I could not do this trip any sooner, but could push it back....what do you guys think??????????

it works for us, also they have a campground,Perkins in town for 28 dollars a night for full hookup,looks like a nice place on line,at this point we are planning on it .but keep us posted

Fox, Need to confirm dates, to put in vacation time for 7-15-7-21, I have to put in by end ofF febuary??????? This will be our vacation for the year, We are looking foward to it, we will Travel up with Coots clan . We will be staying at the camp ground which is ascross the road from the hotel.

Oh I might have to try and make this one.

Per Fox to Coot, Coot was going to post this but Janet hit two deer on the way home from work tonight[[she is ok, car not so ok] and Coot is out scapring up road kill and leaving for the swamp in the morning.The date is set 7-15-2012--7-21-2012 , setting my vaction tomorrow.

Ok...back from delivering trees in Arkansas.....the date that BigD and Coot mentioned above is the date we will be doing this.

We will all need a Michigan ORV ( Off Road Vehicle ) sticker....$ 17.00
which is good for 1 year... April 1,to March 31 ....we need to get a list started of all that want to attend so that I can get everyone's permit in advance....it is just easier that way.

Putting in for my vac time. Wife wants to go. Will have to see how schedule works out. It's 672mi 11hrs 59min for us +/-. But looking forward to a great time.

The Upper Peninsula is nearly 1/3 of Michigan (16,452 square miles), however it's only about 3% of the population with approximately 328,000 people.

Its like going back a step in time. Folks are laid back and easy going. Getting ready to head up that way and hopefully do a little snowmobile riding. Hopefully they get more snow.

Were in My Vac finalized today. Wife said she is goin no matter what. May bring Cameron on his first trail rideing adventure with us. Can't wait.

As you can see, I started an attendee ride list. We need to get the list complete so that reservations can be made. BigD was in contact with the people at the camp grounds and was informed that our week is a busy week for Big Bay, so we need to make our reservations very soon.
