Sounds like your belt might be wet. Is it revving and hardly moving?

On the bottom of the belt case is a drain plug. If I remember correctly, you turn it a quarter turn and it comes out. The water in the case will drain out. Once all the water drains, you can rev the engine slightly, in Neutral, and this should dry you belt. Oh yea, You can reach the drain plug by removing the passenger set. It's no big deal, just drain the water, and you'll be fine.

BTW, you can also tilt the machine to assist in the draining. If you have the resources.

You might also want to check the engine oil, and front/rear differential, to see if it's "milky" looking. I think you will be OK, but it's worth a look.

i think the belt drive and drain are on the drivers side, just remove the seat and look around the bottom of the cover you'll see what looks like a turn valve(it's not) just pull it out and let it drain. if it's really soupy or chunky you may need to pull the belt drive cover and clean it out. not a big deal & good luck :afro:

I did all the same stuff and ended up having to remove the CVT cover and pull the CVT clutch. Cleaned all the old caked in grease and re-grease it. Took about 2 hours but runs like new now.

I couldn't remember what side the valve was on :D I've only had to do it once, and that was on a Grizzly. Laughing

so i took it apart today, and it was bad.
full of mud, cleaned it out and the belt is still slippin...so i figure a new belt and totally take the clutch apart to clean

time to snorkel it before this happens again
