How about a Ride??? (Windrock Jan 21, 22 & 23)

I am thinking we need to get a non-official ride for the winter. Maybe in the middle of January. Big-R's cold ass winter ride......

I have looked at it on line. I would not mind riding there if I was going down to my Moms in NC. It would be fun.

I have a need to ride. Miley says it best..... not about how fast i get there, not about whats' waiting on the other side, its' the climb

I have been in the trails for a couple months now so I plan on riding somewhere in Dec./Jan. sometime for sure!

Well the Jan. 20 is my birth day so that weekend would be great. I may ride somewhere on new years day too. I have always ridden new years day.

Were and when? I would like to but I would need some long advanced notice. I would have a long ride and would have to find a place to stay. But just maybe I can do it.........

Now your thinking

It snowed and sleeted on us big-r I think that counts as a cold ride!! Of course you didn't realize the cold being in a warm enclosed trailer with another man and 1 air mattress!!

The one draw back to Pickett is that you have to trailer to the trailhead. There are a few spots to camp at the trailhead but not many. If you have not ridden it, it is well worth the trouble.

On another note, if you make a weekend of it, Pickett is not far from Brimestone. Maybe stay at Brimestone and trailer to Pickett one day to ride. Just a thought.

not sure on exacts yet but i know it should be in Jan and i think were stayin in crossville or near there if i remember correctly

Jan 25 is my birthday and I would be 100% down to go!! Just a date. Brimstone was fun last year in the 0 degree temp but picket would be a killer ride as well!
