How about a Ride??? (Windrock Jan 21, 22 & 23)

well looks like you named your ride right it is going to drop from a high of 4 or so on thursday to 29 high on friday and 34 on saturday and chance of snow!!!!!!!

No, Oliver Springs TN is going to be cold Friday (28 high) but mostly sunny and 40 degrees Sat and Sunday! It's going to great riding weather.

Ok, I see the problem. Honestly, weather.com sucks. I've found it to be off the mark too often. There's a beer in it if I'm wrong Ronnie. I'll wager accuweather will be far closer than weather.com. If it's a wintery mix, I'll have some Eagle Rare bourbon to split with ya...if it's partly sunny...what are you bringing to split with me? :)

I hope you are right also. But hey, I'll split some Rowans Creek or Nona mils sense you are a bourbon drinker. I really don't see how either of us can loose....

My thoughts exactly!! I've got about half a bottle of Basil Hayden I'll bring along as well. As long as there is good bourbon and good people to share it with...who cares about the weather?

Its Tennessee weather.... in the mountains the most accurate weather prediction will be the day before

I will be down Friday ready to ride by 12. We usually meet at the top of the parking lot across from trail 22.

Saturday we will meet at the same spot. Would like to hit the trails at 10 sharp.

I know there is a lot of BSing around before the ride. It usually makes us hit the trails late. I am the worse one of us all about this . However, lets try and be ready to hit the trails at 10 Saturday morning. Then once we get in the woods there will be plenty of time to fellowship with each other at stop points.

Also, please WAIT on the buggy behind you at each intersection before you turn. If you can't see a machine then wait until you do. I promise you that I will not make a turn without a person behind me. If each person does the same we will not loose anyone along the way. However, if you come to an intersection and you don't know which way to turn STOP there and wait. Someone will come back and get you.

i hate to miss this ride but i just cant make it. everything worked out with work and im off this weekend but monica has been sick for over a month and just had some shoots today and may have to have a more next week so i cant leave her here alone all weekend.

As much as I was looking forward to this, I must bow out as well. I will be stuck in Phoenix and these 70 degree days. Maybe next time.
