Bigger box or tonneau cover?

We like to cook out on the trail and I seem to be adding more and more cargo to the Rex. right now I have a contico suv box and red cooler as my primary storage and stuff extras around them. I usually ride tail gunner and am getting tired of cleaning multiple cargo boxes from all the dust. I have a large contico box that is 40x20x20 that takes up most of the bed and looks a bit funny as tall as it is, but I can still get a flat gas pack or chainsaw around it. Would a bed cover be better?

I like the bed covers personally, but you have to remember, you can only put things in the bed that are as tall as the sides, or the cover won't close.
