| Anyone tried this out here on the east coast.. I've been thinking about trying it out to see how it does. Several guys on the RZR forum say its great.. But most seem to be out west.. The general idea is in rocks you get more pressure on the rubber giving you better traction. Also with the lighter wheels you pick up some power. I like the idea of being able to rotate my tires also. I run around in 2wd a lot my rears take most of the abuse. The only thing I'm a little worried about is traction in the sloppy stuff.. You look at swap buggies and other mud machines and their tires are pretty narrow compared to the size of the machine.. I know the big fat tires look good but how much do they really help? I've already got a second set of fronts and plan on giving them a try around the house.. But my trails are a little limited. They are pretty much just some trails in the woods with a creek. Not any real rock crawls or long muddy hills to climb..

| Dont know why you would want to go that small. I run 28x10x14's all the way around and love it. | |

| Bighorns come in either 26x9x12 wide or 26x12x12. My fronts are already 26x9. So was my spare.. So pretty much I just had to buy one tire and rim.. Also like I said above some seem to think that a narrow tire does better in a lot of cases. I want it mainly to save on weight and so I can rotate my tires.. The difference between my front and rear tires as far as weight goes is HUGE.. Front rims and tires on the back should make quite a bit of difference in power. Rotating mass is a big deal and effects braking and HP.. My biggest concern is traction in mud. | |

| Good reason. If you can save money not buying all four tires, then go for it. I think you will be totally happy with that set up. As far as weight and rotating mass, I never noticed a bit of difference. | |

Going one size bigger on the RZR makes a BIG difference in power, it's not like the Teryx at all.

| I run 26X9X12 on all 4s. They work good on rocky trails here in Arkansas, | |

I like the radials better myself, in any tire size. Less chance of a pinch. However, they are easier to puncture. Radials have stiffer side walls and less flex. Radials also provide longer tread life offset the higher cost. My 02.

| Good info here. http://www.mud-throwers.com/bias_vs_radial_tiresMajor factor IMO is your riding style. Advantages Bias Strong sidewalls, tough casing Better sidewall puncture resistance Good lateral stability (hill side work) Good in rough terrain and off-road Self-Cleaning Easily repaired Lower purchase price Disadvantages Poor life expectancy (50% of radial) Lack of flexibility in casing reduces foot print and traction Tread flexes more, generating more heat and rolling resistance. Profile of tire increases soil compaction and reduces traction Larger rolling resistance and fuel inefficiency Radial Good high speed capacity Longer lasting (Up to 50% longer) Wear resistant Low heat build-up Lower rolling resistance Better Fuel Economy Better floatation and larger contact area Less soil compaction Better stability and machine handling Smoother, more quiet ride Proliferation of tires in the last 10 years has mostly been in radial Disadvantages More prone to puncturing More difficult to repair Higher purchase price Notes: All radial tires have a designated "R" in the tire size. Example: 36x14.5R-15LT. If you don't see the R, its a bias type tire. | |

| Never had a pinch with mine, 2700 miles. I have cut one. The higher speed, control, stability and longer life is the main things for me. | |

| On the RZR I have Bighorn Radials 27x9x12s on the front and 27x12x12s on the rear. Great tires, good tread design for general trail riding, as long as you stay out of the deep mud. I've got GBC Grim Reapers 26x10x12s & 26x12x12s on the Rhino. They are bit more aggressive and like to sling mud everywhere LOL. Also a good all around tire. | |
