Road Trip to Phoenix, AZ

Just got back from my trip, glad to be home, and glad to have my new RZR. I drove 3400 (nashville to phoenix) miles round trip in 4 days, basically non stop driving...to pick up the Jagged X rock crawling rzr. Managed to snap a 'few' pictures on the drive...

wondering if anybody knows what this vehicle is...bunch of guys all in black inside...lots of equipment on the dash, and i got a 'look' when i snapped a pic of it:

That was a new model Range Rover being tested. Probably to make sure it works for the camel-jockeys.

yea, i used to do the drive from nashville to boston (home town) quite a bit...that seems easy now at only 1200 miles ha. taking the rzr out this saturday to woolys offroad, shake down run!

good trial run would be Brimstone 44y, 87y, and a trip down 112 and maybe a good days ride at coal creek, plenty of rocks there. the ride looks nice should be a rock star!!

Never been to Brimstone before. I am planning on going to Coal Creek the weekend after thanksgiving (26th and 27th). Need to get some seat time and experience behind the wheel. Its a lot different from a cherokee ha.

ohhh yes it is, it will go places you wont believe. welcome to the addiction its expensive but well worth it! some of the regulars on here can show you around at coal creek or Brimstone, you will love them both.
you may want a softer tire for this slick rock east coast riding, just a thought. those may be the ticket but havent seen too many use truck tires back east. let us know how they do please.

the guys that built it said they ran about 8psi in them, and they worked great, but we will see. i like the ground clearance they give, may end up getting some internal beadlocks for them though. i have been to windrock maybe 10 times in the past few years, but i certainly dont know all the trails.

I ride WR almost every weekend.......Just let me know when you want to go.
