Anyone up for a Cove ride soon?

If anyone is interested, I would like to take a group into the Cove soon. You guys that haven't been there before are missing out!

There's a benefit ride planned for next Saturday, I am planning to attend it. I can get you the info for that if you want me to. We should get together and do the whole cove later, I doubt they will cover more than 30 miles or so with a large group and stopping to cook, etc...

Yes, I don't have all the details about next weekend's ride out there. I may try to do a longer ride on the 29th though.

I'm thinking the 29th. Parking isn't an issue on that end right now, they have the road closed to do bridge work right past the blacktop road that leads to the entrance, there's several hundred yards of wide shoulder between the last road and the closed bridge. We have parked people there several times without any problems. Or we could park at my house, but that would add another 4 miles of blacktop.

I managed to get permission to park at a church that's within two miles of the trail head.

I would really love to to come down and ride - looks awesome, but its over 400 miles one way.

The only thing I ask is that I get a pretty solid idea of who all is coming by around Tuesday of next week. I want to make sure that we have enough parking, and if not it will give me a little time to find more.
