| Yikes, Something like that is exactly what I need, But any other options besides super ATV? Not knocking them cause I know their nice people. I just really don't trust anything they make. Boots fall off their ball joints, Their Z tie rods aren't worth a crap, Their heim joints might last a couple hundred miles. List goes on and on. I've just never had anything from them hold up and I've got a couple buddies that for some reason they have yet to learn their lesson.. They constantly have stuff fall apart and bringing up to me asking what should they do.. I always tell them to stop buying super atv parts.. lol | |

| Found some different ends http://www.s3powersports.com/s3-heavy-duty-tie-rod-end-kit Looks to be 90 bucks for a pair of heavy duty ends they also look to be longer. They sell lifts an forward a-arms so I'm guessing thats exactly what these ends are for.. Thinking these are what I'm going with. | |

| Here's what you need. www.racingrodends.com2-1/2x1/2x20 LH female ends, 2- 1/2 to 3/8 reducers, 4-3/8 cones. About 24.00. That's for the economy-ends. They are a lot longer. | |

| Aren't the tie rods supposed to be connected on the bottom? | |

Not on a Ranger. Not sure about a RZR. | |

| On my old RZRs it went on the bottom. Its that way for all the 800s minus the 800 4 seater it goes on top on those also. All the 900s it goes on the top. Here is a pic for the 800s same pic in both the 09 manual and the 2011 manual | |

| Chris, it goes on the top. That might be why you are having problems getting the tierod on. | |

| It being on top should give you more thread. Even with it on top there isn't a lot of tierod threaded into the end. Its more then a couple threads, but its a little less then I'd like though. Thats why I was looking for longer ends. I guess since only a couple posted where to get longer ends most people are just running the stock ends with forward arms. If you don't have one its worth getting a service manual. You can find them in PDF online for free. Tells you what to torque all the bolts to and helps a lot if your not 100% how to take something apart or put it back together. I have them for all the models even the 170 lol. I've got a couple buddies who always manage to break stuff (or their kid) so I have manuals for their machines to | |

| The heims are way longer. Got them to put on my 900 already. I had a stock-one pull out on my 800. From the factory it was only about 4-turns in. Scary thought flying down the road at 50.....If you cut the boot off a stock one. It's not pretty!! John at Backwoods turned me on to racingrodends. | |

| Got some new goodies in for the RZR.. First after going on a few rides alone or me just the wife. Looking back there at that empty seat I had an idea. Thought about either mounting a cooler or a sub to a seat base for when I only need 2 or 3 seats. After spending some more time hanging out with someone that has a sub in his machine I made my mind up.. Picked up a Alpine 5 channel amp and a Alpine 10". My other speakers are 4 Alpine 7" speakers and I kind of wanting everything to match. Besides my 7" sound really good so I figured paired with their amp and sub they would rock Welded up a frame out of some 1" square tube in an extra stock base I had Built a fiberglass box for the sub to mount to the seat base Box and sub mounted. You can remove it just like a seat.. Pull the handle and it comes right out. I put a water proof quick disconnect on the back. So it can be easily unplugged when not in use New amp mounted up top where the old one was. This amp is smaller, But it is a tad bit thicker so It wouldn't fit under the cover. Which is no big deal. Its a nice amp so I've got NP with it being seen lol Old setup sounded pretty dern good and would hurt your ears before it distorted. The new setup is even better. Sounds amazing and honestly is probably overkill for a RZR. Also picked up some new wheels and tires. Sti Bead locks and a set of 28"10"14" roctanes Compared to the old 26" bighorns Of course You have to through in a shot with a 5 gallon bucket Started on my tree kickers. Hope to get them done this week end.. | |

| Thanks guys. Anyone have any suggestions for a clutch kit on a XP? I took it out last night and drove it around the field a little and up and down the road. Its still pretty quick but the clutch is off now. It was already off a little anyway. Now though stomp on it from a dead stop and the RPMs jump to about 75-7800 then climbs to 8350. Should be hitting 8100 or so off the line and then climbing to 8350. | |

| Looks good. So is the new thing to go 14" rims with 28 or bigger tires same size all around? I feel gimped with my 12" rims, not too many choices for 27" tires | |

| I don't know if its the new in thing. Honestly I've been talking about getting same tires and rims since last year. I knew I wanted 28" and yeah if you do some shopping around for tires. You find if you want larger tires u pretty much have to get larger rims. With an XP larger rims are better anyway. Helps cut down on rocks getting stuck inside the rear rims. With this size tire I have Plenty of sidewall even with 14" | |

| Thumper, might have to wear your hat sideways and get some dice and curb feelers. Wish I had time to install a sound system. Like the wheels Will. | |

| Gimpy if u decide to tackle it. I've got a JBL marine amp that's maybe 6 months old. It's 4 channels and something like 60 watts RMS per channel. Ill take 60 for it. That's half what I paid. It's a good amp I just needed a 5 channel for the sub | |
