Brimstone is requiring riders to have a Brimstone permit and approved resort parking permit on your person. If you do not have both, according to their policy you are not welcome and can be banned from riding there.

Of course we do outnumber them - just an obervation.

Here's the number to twra. 423-587-7037 Trails End is trying to petition them to open trail 3 as multi use trail that way you can go from Trails End to the twra trails via trails 3 & 1. Parts of trail 1 is already multi use and they cant stop you on it. Trails End is in district 41 of region 4.

Give us a departure time. I rode one of these last fall and the ride was one of my best of the year. Hope to do about 6 more this year.

I've already posted on their facebook and sent them a long polite email..
Trails end has always been good to us. But honestly even if I never stayed there this new policy is complete BS.. I've been going to brimestone for the last several years.. We don't go much since its a 5+ hour drive.. But we have bought at least a couple yearly passes for the last 4 years. I've seen the place change a lot. I know for a fact trails end had a lot to do with that place growing. It was pretty much the only place to stay for a while. Even after brimestone added their own camp ground we still stay at trails end.

I'll still go to trails end and I'm all for giving the TWRA land a try. I've been on several of the trails that use to be brimestone anyway. Its my understanding with these passes we can ride from trails end to Royal blue if we want?

Brimstone is refunding $ for for yearly passes already bought minus the days you've ridden so far (im sure no one has had a chance to ride there yet this year) So call and request a full refund if you've already bought permits.

Wow looks like brimstone is going to need a new manager once the co-op hears how many thousands of dollars are going to be lost. Time to step it up another notch, we need to call or email every place on the "LIST" and find out who thge vendors are that are going to there upcoming winterfest and white knuckle events and tell them that a full blown boycott of the events will be in effect from the whole SXS /atv community if these new rules are not ended. If brimestone doesnt comply i say we thru our collective power end all business with them and show them the power we have as consumers.

Okay guys here is the deal, We gave Brimstoiine till Friday to get back to us with a decision about our Spring Ride in march, I dont think they are going to back down right now they will need to loose a lot of money before it gets thru to them they fucked with the wrong people and they canot get away discriminating and dictating where we can or can not stay. So the plan is if they dont re-nig on these bullshit rules, I say we show them that we will still come to scott county, we will drive right by there office down the paved roads to trails end, spend our money with them, camp and stay wherever we want and ride the TWRA areas of old brimstone, royal blue and windrock. We will be getting the details of the ride set up and let everyone know, thatsright

Had a funny thought:

If they succeed in making trail 3 a "multi use" trail, then Brimstone will no longer have the "right" to check permits / coolers there.

Hey everyone, I am out of town right now and checking in on my phone. I will add more to the thread when I get home on Saturday.

However, I think we still need to go in March and ride the TN land. I was going to buy the TN permit this year anyways. The only problem is I don't know those trails and will need help guiding.

I forget Big R, you have a GPS? Dan's maps are great and cover all the area in and around Windrock, Royalblue, and the other place we don't ride anymore Cool

Plus he has them color coded so you know how the trail is rated......
