Water Temp Gauge

Got it installed. No wondering or guessing anymore. Even got a blue light to match the dash lights. Anyone tell me when their fan kicks off and on by there gauge temp? Mine is kicking on right at 180 deg. and fan kicks off at 170 deg.

Was the install very hard. what was involved.
Did you wire the light to come on with the headlights or what?

That is a killer deal.....

Pretty much the same cycles for me too Marty, but with the TCP shroud, the fan only cycles on for about 30 seconds or less. I wired mine to a switch powered by my fuse block. Sweet bro!!!

Are you sure that thing is large enough? Your eyes are not as good as they used to be. That might be hard to see. :(lmao:

It looks really good Marty. I would like one smaller. I only have so much room left in that little square.

Ronnie , just move that red rocker switch over to the left side.
and put the gauge between the Ipod and the switch. it will look
cool......

Mine kicks on at 180 also, I need to get the bulb colors so it will match the dash.

Marty, did you have to install a sender for this guage or were you able to hook it up to the existing one?

No, I had to install a new sender. They are not compatable. Grounded the factory wire to the frame to keep the idiot light out.

So the way you hooked it up marty. the factory light dont work

Comes with the gauge.

I think I am going to install one on my ride along with my new shroud(when it gets here) I think im gonna check local boat shop first

This gauge is down to $16 at Amazon now. It is a steal. I would highly recommend it. Acurate and waterproof.

i wired mine in diff from factory.my idiot light still works.well i guess it does.havnt ran it hot enough to yet,with the gauge and with the shroud my runs cooooooollllll!!!

Does that guage price include all you need to run the guage(guage, sender, wiring, bulb, etc.) or is it just for the guage?
