| If I did anything it would only be the cvt, if the water gets up to the seat,I'm backing up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We creek-ride almost everyday around here, no mud just water. |

| Ok just got back form riding, the snorkels work great, no problems at all. I ran everything in 2" pvc so it would get enough air. Did not have to rejet or adjust the carb at all. It did pop a little in mid range but cleared up and ran fine (it may have been bad gas). I had water up over my waist and never slowed down . I had the wife with me and she was screaming at me the whole time the seat belt was holding her down in the water and it was cold. I followed every atv through every hole no matter how deep and the looks on everyones face told the story. They were impressed. | |

| Im not sure I underatdn the reasoning for wanting to snorkel the belt and not the box...
but - the link Z posted does both and it helped me a ton.
I will try to post a pic of my snorkel mock up and see if I can find the finished pics too.

| gotcha - its easy to do with some 2" pvc, and bring it up through the dog house.
look at the pics Z posted and again I will see if I can find mine. good luck.
ps. may want to consider also snorkleing the cvt exhaust too.

| thats what I did too - but keep in mind - that $220 makes it easy - all the measuring twice and cutting 3 times crap is done, and its a complete snorkel. If you just want to snorkel - DIY, easy. (of course I can say that now that mine is doen and it only took 3 nights - but they were drunk nights ) | |

| again - can you tell I just figured out how to post pics... here are a few snorkel pics - hope it helps someone. snorkel mock up snorkel mock up 2 stacks (lil lean, now fixed with hd zips - I also just recently changed the tips a lil) rear view of stacks - gotta remember if you want your bed to tilt I cut the back of the dog house... I also put rubber 2" connectors near the dog house to allow for SOME flex and easy replacement if stacks get dirty, scratched or I want another look. | |

I thought abotu that - but one is intake and one is exhaust and I wasnt sure if that was ok - so I left em seperate....anyone ever done that? You'd be putting hot air back in the tranny. It would get very hot and eventually cause a problem....probably a belt melt down.
