I hope you can get it ironed out. With no real carb. skills, I guess mine will never have one.

Shawn,
Try to block the intake side a little with your hand while it is sputtering. More sputter-lean, less sputter rich.......

the snork to my carb is about a 7" long piece of 2" pipe. from there it goes up the rest of the way with 1.5" pipe.
mine runs just the same now as it did before the snorks, i can hammer it and no stutter. mine was already rejetted for a 2 brothers exhaust though. i cant remember off top my head what the main jet size is though.
im guessing you need to go up on your main jet.

and what the heck is that on the doghouse that the pipes are coming up through? was that part of the kit? i just trimmed some of the rear off on mine for them to come up.

Good idea but i think you got that backwards. Put your hand over the intake a little and if you get more sputter then you are running to rich if you get less sputter you are running to lean.

Either way you still have to consider if you are running the snorkel into the stock air box and stock filter. Also is the exhaust stock.
If everything is stock, I would guess you might be a little rich.

Good luck hope you get it all dialed in. Looks like a great job. When you go test it out in the deep water, watch out for the shark

The cv carb is real sensitive to pressure. It's not all about jetting, if the intake pressures not right, you'll never get it to work, no matter what jetting. See the two little square "blocks'' on the intake-tube. Try playing with them a little. Remove one or both and see what happens. Block the hole of course, if you take one, or both off.

Snorkeling the intake on a 660 Rhino is very difficult. Many have ditched the effort. Pate was correct -- that carb is extremely senstive to pressure changes. You may think you have it correct wide open but it can be lean or rich at part throttle.

Hope you get it right. It is possible but takes lots of time.
