| Went out to DoodS's house Yesterday and he whip a new Unleashed UTV (supplied by Clayboy) sheave on mine rhino in no time. Also, the man fed me pizza. What a great guy, he does all the work and buys me dinner I owe you one buddy. Guys, this is going to be hard to believe. I have more bottom end. I don't think I know. The rhino feels like it's popping a wheelie. I thought it was do to not having all the gear in the back so I loaded up the rhino and tried to pop a wheelie. Same result. I don't understand. I know I am going to quit listening to people on forums and try things out myself | |

| The sheave does not add any power to the bottom end! I read that on some forum somewhere so it has to be true. It must be the new valve stem caps or something. | |

Now how is the top end. did stop the motor from screaming.. I hit 47 before I back off. I see 50 ish in the near future. Yes, it runs at a lower RPM. I am happy so far. I can't wait to try it out in the woods next weekend.

| I am going to bring my sheave to Evarts and let you guys take a look at the kit I bought. I wonder if they are the same. I want to add mine, but I have refrained because I did not want to tear into it and mess something up before this ride. Maybe it could be a weekend trip over that way with the Rhino and I can get an extra set of hands to help me too... Glad you like it. Now are you going to go back in and do the spring? | |

No. They sent a orange spring. We didn't think it was the right one. Clay is going to get on the horn today and find out. So, no new spring for now.

| Thanks Shawn. I actually downloaded that video clip in Afghanistan to do the job. I would just like to maybe have someone there that has done one before so they can show me any possible tricks or hangups. | |

Glad you like it. Now are you going to go back in and do the spring? I am sure you can find some help out this way It takes longer to get to the sheave then it does to replace it. Not sure about changing the spring yet. We are going to change Clays and compare the difference. That way we can give an honest evaluation.

| I have seen that video. It looks like taking the console out and taking the cover off will be the most time consuming part. Did you guys use an impact to bust the holding nut on the sheave? It uses the cage bolts to take the tension off the belt right (that is the way my King Quad is) | |

Yes on both statements, you will need a 22mm socket and impact gun. If you change the secondary spring, you will need a 1-13/16 socket. You will also need to be able to compress the spring, I am going to put a stock "steel" wheel on top of it, then set on the wheel while loosening or tightening the nut with an impact. I'll try and get some pix of this operation.
