Can-Am SxS rumor

They have had that same rumor since 06 and every year it proves to be just that a rumor and the release date moves up a year.

the Can-am guy @ Brimstone said late 2010, early 2011 is what they are saying.....i demo'd there 800 Rotax....the Outlander and the Renegade.....they are both bad@ss machines.

Actually they didn't officially release information about a SxS until 08 and they stated a time frame which is still on schedule. Nothing has changed.

That's not a Can-Am, that is a chinese made unit. That photo surfaced a while back and I promise it is not a Can-Am.

Looks like there guages in the pod, and its there signature color, besides canam buys from other vendors like rotax, maybe this was a thought to get into the sxs market faster??? I wouldn't put it past those sneaky Canadians

Oh, a little subtle rzr bash Let me write that down, since you said it never happens and just a fyi a rzr 170 has a parking brake and its cooler looking than this thing. Oh and i heard a new rumor today, the 2010 rhino will not have a parking brake.... it was deleted along with the rest of the machine

No bashing Gunny just facts. That thing does have a parking brake.... And if this is what everyone is considering bashing, then I need to unplug this forum. Because we are way to seruis about all of this.

And the 2110 rhino comment was funny. Moreover, I can laugh about it and I am laughing about it. Now if everyone else can get the cobs out of their ass we can all laugh about it again.

My name is Jon. Im a new member here. I have a little inside news for you guys waiting on the Can-Am SidexSide.

My uncle owns a Powersports buisness and I usually go with him when he goes to dealer meetings.

We just returned from the Can-Am dealers meeting in WA. Can-Am puts on great dealer meetings each year with alot of info and alot of news.

The big question that was asked from almost every dealer was "when is there going to be a side by side?". Well, Can-Am decided to tell us the answer at our dinner conference.

Heres what was said:
"We do have a side by side vehicle in production. It will be introduced in the 2010 model year and it will meet everyones expectations on what a true side by side should be. All dealers will get information on the new vehicle a couple months prior to the introduction to familiarize yourselves with the vehicle and sales pointers on the vehicle along with comparisons to competition models."

They didnt go into what the utv looks like, what motor is in it, or any other specs, but it will be introduced this model year.

Hope this helps narrow the window down a little.

But, it's legal to rent side-by-each's in most places, even in Canuckia...

Got some inside scoop tonight. Spring 2010 they will be here. There will be 3 models. A base, a XT, and a Sport. Thats all............
