If you play in the mud and do a little clutch work I do not see 28 bogging the 450 down, but I can not say for certain since I only run 26 inch Grim reapers. I can say I have never had to use low range, with my setup it has plenty of power in high to turn the tires without bogging.

We did not do 39. The last time I was there that trail was impassible.

I went up it on a 4 wheeler a few months ago but I haven't rode 39 in a while and I hear it has gotten pretty bad if you are going up. Going down wouldn't be as much of a problem.

I have tried about everything and the best overall tire for Windrock in my opinion so far is the Bighorns. But, I have a new set of Pitbull Growler tires I will be trying out starting next weekend I hope. They really look good and have great tread depth. Most of the guys I ride with have Bighorns and I can't wait to see how they compare.
