Thanks bro.. Trying to guess where to mount the lift-shocks was a beitch. I just took a eye-ball chance, and it worked out.... You release the latch and it magically floats-up...........cool!!!!!!!!!!!

| I was wondering how it will react if the bed flexes in the woods. i guess we will see after a test run... So how much do you think the cover all weighs , once you were all finished with it? And did you fix it where it could be removed pretty easy if you needed to carry something bigger.... | |

And did you fix it where it could be removed pretty easy if you needed to carry something bigger.... I'll answer your questions sir............ It will not pop-open since it is center-latched. Latch depth is 1-inch............ It weighs 23 pounds.......(840 kit, won't know it's there)............. Has two quick-release-pins at the hinges, and the lift-cylinders have clips, 2-mins at the most........................

| Another note to self.....
I recieved my 1-1/4 rear-spacers from Alba yesterday. The studs came with 10Mx125 pitch studs and nuts. The Ranger has 3/8x24 pitch studs and lugs..........................................The response from Alba...
"We just became aware of this last week. It all depends on which wheels you have. Let me know if you have the aluminum wheels with tapered lug nuts. I will send you out a lug nut kit that will make everything work correctly"
I do............ I've been cursed so far. Everything I've ordered has been jacked-up. My first roof was cracked on a corner. My VDP speaker-bar was busted on a corner. Now my spacers , wrong.....

| You would think Alba, an American Company, would know other American companies, (PoPo), for the most part, dont use the metric system. Thats just sad.
Tapered lug nuts? | |

Tapered lug nuts? You'd think........... I kind of got the feeling maybe some older Polaris quads or Rangers had metric studs??? Tapered-nuts kind of threw me too, hell, they all are tapered?? Said they were sending out a correction-kit to me tomorrow. We'll see..........

| Polaris uses conical lug nuts on the aluminum wheels just like used on cars and trucks. Id send them back and get a good set like highlifter, comes with grade 8 studs and uses your factory lug nuts. | |

| I ditched the D/P bed-topper. Dunno why after all the work, but just wasn't my style. Seemed like a big bread-box on wheels, just weirded me out for some reason?? I'll cut it up into something else. Altho I did think for a second............Two 12's back there would surely BOOM!!!!.Nah...On to the next thing..... | |
