it looks like jodyt and mud-and-guts will be leading.i will be for sure going on this one.but everyone else let the details fly.but we need to know where to meet how many people going

ok i am for sure going but i have never been there so thats why i needed some information on where to meet and other details

I didn't realize most would be coming from up north so we can put in from the Dry Hollow Side...if that is what you guys want...

Dry hollow is a little quicker when coming from the north.

Coming in from the north the best parking is along Dry Hollow road, there is several spots you guys can use...

ok thanks but we need an exact place and time to meet at like parking lot near store meet at 9:00 .something like that and it would be good if we had a ride list of who all is going on this

Also who is riding two days and who is only staying one?

I can go for one or two days.
I am game for 9:00 am at the store.

The store is roped of all along the road, you can't even pull over there anylonger...

yeh we need to know an exact place to meet at and time and ride list of who all we can expect to be there.

With that many rigs you may want to look into going in at Blackhouse Mnt Rd on the Tn side, I'm afraid you would have trouble parking that many on the dry hollow side....unless someone knows a farmer up there along that road that would allow you to park in his fields

Jody is correct. With that many rigs Blackhouse Mtn Road would be the best place to park. Here are directions coming from Crossville, Tn. Also the GPS Coordinates to the parking area.

Interstate 40 Exit 317. Head north on Hwy 127 to Jamestown.

Hwy 127 just north of Jamestown turn right on Hwy 154 towards Pickett State Park.

Approx: 6 miles you will pass the Wildwood Bed and Breakfast. 1,5 miles past the Bed and Breakfast you will see Blackhouse Mtn Road on the left. Turn Left onto Gravel road and follow it for 4.1 miles to Trailhead Parking area. Just park along side the road.

GPS Coordinates are: N36 34.116 W84 51.345

I plan on making this ride too. If you all need further directions then let me know. Also, any of you all that want to follow me up there from Crossville direction I can meet you in Crossville at one of the gas stations. Hope this helps. Does someone have a list started of who all is coming?

I doubt we will have 30 machines on this ride. Yank was asking that question because we are planning a big ride for next year.

However, I am going to try and attend this ride if the wife will let me. I have been wanting to ride Pickett for some time now.

If any of you are planning on camping overnight, This is State Forest Property and camping is allowed. You will have to be self contained as the only facility would be down the road at Pickett State Park. You can camp there too but cannot ride your ATV/UTV at the Campground. So you would have to trailer over to Blackhouse Mtn. Road.
