Night Ride at Wilburns

We talked to one of the owners of Wilburns today and he said they allow night rides on Saturday night for groups. Seems like a good time to do that before the critters start wanting to get in a tent with ya. Whos in?

that would be fabulous........but don't hate on my stock lights......since everyone else has 50,000 lights on theirs!

Yep thats an obsession with me not sure why I have used them maybe 3 times.....but I could sure see where I was goin.

id love to go on a night ride ...and mybe build a fire ,,play some tunes..exc

yup, i've been wanting to use my 'praise jesus' lights... i'm ready.

Just as a side note for you Wheelin......ther were just as many riders on Aetna mountain at night as there was during the day....It was hoovering around 32 so you can imagine there were lots of fires at that time.....And I believe adult beverages were being consumed as well. Either that or those folks up Chattanooga way were very happy to be night riding or just hollering because they were glad to be alive : ) I think I will go with the first one that they was some alcohol involved.

Count another rhino in for the night ride here! I got to get my reverse light an light bar designed an mounted soon!

Norcerisdave did you ask about any specific dates on the way out yesterday; or just say the group will call in the next week or so?

How dare you call me a goofball.......I am used to a little bit stonger language than that. I could possibly go this sat for the night ride. The 19th is out celebrating 20 years of bliss with the wife. I am open to any other sat nights though......as long as we dont have any t-ball or softball goin on. You guys want to set a tenative date for April 26th?

sounds good to me. i'm supposed to be helping someone move out of town, but it might be cancelled... so, i'll have to check on it.

What time are you all going to start riding on the 26th? All day or get there around 4-5pm an start riding evening into night? Should be about done with work by that time so should be in for the ride here.

not helping with the move... it's been postponed, so i can ride. I sent an invite to BUZCLEV... maybe his crew will show up.

Nocerisdave what kind of grill do you have to bring? I can put the smaller propane camp grill in the back of the Rhino if you all want; that I took to Wilborns once if some of yall remember. So that will give us 2 grills...


Who else are you bringing nocerisdave? Is the RZR coming along?

My grill is rather large. I dont use gas so it a big charcoal one on wheels. Pretty easy to move around though. Guess it just depends on how many come as to the size of grill. The RZR and possibly two other Rhinos who are not part of the forum.......

yup, grilling sounds good to me... along with a cooler full of cold ones. ride plan is getting better and better.

I'll bring the small grill, hot dogs, hamburges an some drinks....

Nocerisdave is your grill small enough in size you can transport it in the back of the Rhino or is it really large when you say "its rather large". Thats why I just put a camp grill in, last time we stopped out on the trails an grilled... If we have too many in the group an we need a larger grill guess we can grill at the parking lots.

Broknbonz, I believe we are shooting for Saturday April 26. We will be meeting between 4-5pm or I know I will be. Nocerisdave or Wheels one of you correct this if its wrong.

Hopefully this night ride an cookout turns out to be a big ride and sparks alot more night riding as summer approches...
