Maybe, on top end to long. He was trying to do about 15 mile loop in 10 min. And has never ridden it easy. I was surprised it has happen sooner. | |

| Does it have a controller of any type Shane?? Reason I ask,after looking at the pic more, the side-don't look too scored, just the holed-top. Of course the debris from the melted top will get between the wall and the piston and score it some, but usually high-rpm over-rev failures look wayyyyy worse than that. Looks like the timing was, or did, advance too much. | |

| Ok you guys, are you to young to remember the two strokes? My first MC must have gone thru 12 pistons it would get to lean, Piston was $3 rings were $3 and spark plug .$65 sometimes I could clean te haluminum out of the plug and reuse. Turned out there was a leak in teh rotary valve house that allowed it to lean out but only occured after extended rides. | |
