| I am not saying mine is trashed, but I do notice that the cross-frame is starting to dig into the nut that is on the bolt that goes thru where the shocks originally mounted from the factory. It is not severe, just barely cut a very small notch in the nut. It may be a signal of things to come. I hope not. I have about 300-350 miles on the lift I would guess. I have jumped it, but I have ridden thru some whoops. If it does happen to bend, I have the utmost confidence that Andy and the boys will make it right. Dodd has probably ridden his the most and hardest of any of us. If his is holding up I am not sure Tim's and Todd's would bend. I guess there could always be "bad batches" of lesser metal. I don't really know. I do know that I will be keeping a watchful eye on it, just like I do the air filter. Thanks for the heads up Todd! | |

Thanks for the heads up Todd! Mines not going to be lifted the improper way, i.e. a bolt on lift. That's just MY opinion. I'm by no means knocking any product out there, if you want to use it ,fine. Most lifts change the geometry, they have to ,to work. Like I say that's MY opinion. I'm going to get lift the,( In my opinion) proper way, via springs or shocks, no geometry changes. After seeing this and other failures, Moose,R-Down, and several others, I'm just not going that way. Besides, when the next "kit" comes, I won't need any lift......I'll just take-off and fly over anything.......... :D

| How much ground clearance does the RZR S have from the factory? Does it set so low that you have to lift it? I know with it being wider it will need more center ground clearance than a narrower machine on the trails we ride but isn't the reason why the RZR S sells so well because of the low center of gravity and handling? not bashing just questions. | |

Factory , it has about 12 inches of GC. with the lift you get between 14 to 15 , depending on how much preload you want to put on the shocks. around 13.9 to 14 is best if you want a good ride....

| Hey today I was impressed by the "S"nake. The water levels down at the river have been extremely high, and the bottom is really soft. I followed an Artic-Cat 700 Mud-Pro quad, with 30-inch Silverbacks, it has factory snorkles, he got stuck twice. The "S"nake never got stuck once. I had water up to my seat bottoms several times.......Although I was very skepctal about the 4WD system on this thing at first, now it has proven to me to be the "man"............ And as bad as I hate to admit it, MY Rhino would not even gotten close to where we went............. | |

Pate, you will be scolded for this! It's ok bro, all I can say is bring it on!!!!!!!!!!! In fact ,I can back it up with some Franklins, several of them. Come to my house and go where I can, and NOT get stuck. I'm not bashing here, I've owned both, traveled the same route 1000's of times in a Rhino, it will not go where the "S"nake did in these conditions, period. Will it Mike????????? :D
