Rob, I would like for you to not demean the RZR please. You do not have one, therefore you can not talk about it. | |

| Hey guys, I've been off doing Yankee things lately so I haven't been around here much... Just noticed this thread too... As most people know here, Racer Tech stands behind it's products more than most companies are willing to. We will cover anything within reason. Obviously, coverage has to be at our disgression. Basically though, as long as you're not too rude, slanderous, ugly, dishonest, or liberal, we'll take good care of you... Don't go doing anything crazy and expect us to do a full recall on a $200 lift kit but if you have a problem you really don't think you should have, just give us a chance to take care of you first and you won't be let down. Thanks! | |

| Thanks Andy for standing behind your product, has anyone of the guys with a bent one sent it back so you can figure out why it happened? I dont have a lot of miles on my kit yet but so far it looks fine but mine does have the up dated bar you came out with. | |

| I've only just seen one recently. I haven't had the time to really inspect it but honestly my gut feeling is it was over torqued at the stock bolt holes which caused an inward buckle point. | |

| Well, ive seen two, mine and one of the old style and yes if you tighten up the shock they both pulled in. I noticed this when i installed mine. I did not over torque it, just snugged it up till the shock wouldn't slop side to side but due to the width it pulled it in. | |

| Thanks guys. Our business concept is to become the undisputed #1 performance chassis and suspension company in this industry. We feel it's worth the support we've been giving to prove to people our products are worth them standing by when talking to their friends. So keep spreading the good word!!!
Maybe for the time being we should all just check our torque on the front channels. If you want to really address the potential issue I would recommend adding some sort of spacer to the inside of the channel on both sides near or around the stock bolt hole. This will absolutely remedy the potential of over-torqueing the bolts...
Thanks! | |
