Ive done them several times, just replace with a good synthetic and it will work smoother.

its easy to remove the skids just a few 10mm bolts and then just drain...use a hose of some sort to put the fluid back in and it makes it a cinch...i just used vavoline gear oil

I replaced mine at 200 miles with Royal Purple 75W-90. Need a 21mm socket for front fill plug, and a funnel with hose to fill front.

easy job - welll worth doing it yourself and worth the extra $ for the purple...

btw - I did mine every 10 hours with oil and filters and plugs.... but I rode my hard.

fluids, filters, spark plugs and the hour it took and 6er of beer are cheap compared to an engine.

Rub , fill it til it runs out of the hole. then put the plug back
in..... allright
do it just like you would do a car rear end.
