| Well , it is a little big. but you got to remember it has a lot more power than a Rhino. So you should still be able to jurk it a round a bit..... | |

| I have been tossing around picking a ranger up, but was just afraid it might not have that fun factor to it, you also have to remember im in FL so its nothing but sandy soft trails with fast cornering or just mud, I imagine they do better than the rhino in mud but wondered how they did on the trails? I tell ya they look awesome for sure and like the idea of 3 seats. | |

I dont miss the Rhino brake at all...

| The lack of idle-engine braking just takes a little getting used to, after a while, you get used to two-footing, and it becomes second-nature. Not a big-deal at all.
As far as width goes, my Rhino was 60-inches wide, just like the Ranger. It is a little longer but the awesome turning radius kind of negates the extra lenth. In what trails I've been on (100 miles) it's no different than a RZR or a Rhino, IMO.
I do not recommend the LE seats tho. They are too flat and very slippery. The regular XP seats have more bloster to them. I am going to 4-points, so that should help.
As far as fast trail-riding goes, and sketching it into turns, It would need to be a little stiffer-sprung than it is stock. I will be up-grading the shocks sooner or later. It has a little lean-factor with the stock-springs, but I do like the very-plush ride. I removed the sway-bar on mine also.
Gearing for crawling is equal to, or even lower than a RZR, just a seat of the pants observation. You do not get mud-covered like a wide Rhino or RZR as long as you keep the wheels in the wells, which I like, guess I'm just getting old..
Mine will top out at 57 GPS with the speed-limiting spacer removed, for now, fast enough. Out of the hole from 0 to 30 is very quick, it seems to fall off the band a little too fast and bog somewhat at 35 or so, then it climbs slowly . An S cam and ECU mod should help with that.
Overall ,I'm really happy with the machine at this point .

| Not going to use the UTV-JUNK in-line sender adaptor for my temp gauge. The stock hose I.D. is 1-1/8, the UTV CRAP adaptor is less than 3/4 I'D and when you screw-in the sender it restricts the flow even more. Don't think so..........I'm going with a Quadavator T-Stat housing. Works on RZR's too. | |

No idea Dave. Maybe the earlier Rangers had smaller cooling lines??? There is no year-designation for the part. I'm going to make them aware.................

| Just a little restrictive. Maybe your overheating problem can be solved with UTV Craps aftermarket radiator. | |
