| Got my Cognito spindles today.. I ordered mine with bearings, seals, and lower ball joints.. They appear to be a lot stronger and are noticeably heavier than the stock spindles. I considered replacing the one bent spindle with a new stock spindle but hated to think a year down the road I would bend it and have to buy another so I decided to upgrade now and possibly save some cash down the road........ I think the pictures basically say it all but I think next time I will break/bend something other than the spindle... Just in case you have never looked at your spindles the stock one is on the right and the Cognito is on the Left. | |

| We ended up getting 4-5 inches of snow today for the most part so I had to try out the Motogrips. Honestly they did struggle when compared to the Reapers. Don't get me wrong they did go but not without a lot of wheel spin and burping of the throttle, but with the wheel spin I seldom had to use 4x4. They actually did better than the reapers when crossing downed trees which was a surprise, but i guess is due to the wide flat foot print. After seeing how the Motogrips did I had to mount the reapers/dwt combo so I could really compare then in the snow (due to this being the most snow we have had in many years). This bank is actually steeper and longer than it looks. The Motogrips really struggled here due to ground clearance because I keep framing out but they did make it eventually. The Reapers had no trouble here what so ever. | |

| I got the RDC leveling kit in today..... I mounted everything and so far so good.... I haven't had a chance to really ride it and settle the springs but I did ride it around the yard for 30 minutes or so and when I pulled it back in the shop it was setting 2 inches higher than before the lift..... The kit I received today is made from 1/4 inch steel instead of the original 3/16 steel brackets... Before (with the 25.5 inch tires) I had 9.25 inches clearance up front and 11.75 in the rear. After the kit install I now have 11.25 up front and 11.65 in the rear. Keep in mind all these measurements were taken at the very front and rear skids. With the bike riding level empty I may have to tighten the rear shocks or loosen the front to keep it level when loaded but so far the ride seems about the same and actually it sits better because with the front end lifted the seats seem to lean back further.... These pictures are after lift install. Here is a pic of a level on the bed of my rhino. This is a pic of the level on the driver door. And a pic with the level on the skid... Here is a pic of the brackets. | |

| Is this RDC leveling kit available for sale yet? If so, how much?
It is noticeably higher in the front -- where my clearance problem lies...

It is noticeably higher in the front -- where my clearance problem lies... I do not think it is available yet... I have the only kit that is cut.. It should be available pretty soon. As for pricing I am unsure of what he will ask..... And yes my factory front skid looked rough when I pulled it off due to it being so low... With the front sitting up it is also like laying the seats back so it also seems to ride more comfortable....

| It looks like it worked out nice. Now you need to trail test and see how it holds up. | |

X2 It is made of two 1/4 steel plates and attaches both front shocks together so I don't think I will break it...... but I guarantee I will have fun trying.....

so he basically just sold you half of a lift kit The holes are modified for less lift (closer together) so it doesn't stress the ball joints, cv's,and tie-rods as much..... The original lift offered close to 3 inches lift up front which I felt was to hard on components... The brackets are other wise the same cut and design....

I seen some on ebay and debated on purchasing one but they consisted of 4 small metal brackets which attached 2 brackets to each side at the top of each shock but I was afraid with some rough riding they would either twist or cause the frame to twist with the excessive stress of moving the shock.... I really liked the design of the RDC kit which attached both shocks together, I just did not like the excessive lift with the kit designed for the lift kits so I mentioned to Paul at RDC I thought his kit with less lift would be a great addition and a very strong kit.... So we went from there and ended up with this kit....
